    Starting to miss my HD598's. Picked up the HS-500's and I just don't use them as much, whereas I used the 598's quite a bit.

    I am using a Aune T1 with my HE-500's. Seems to be running them fine.

      Don't I need something with a USB input to use it with my computer? I was just looking at the Valhalla 2 but noticed it didn't have USB either. Looks like I would need the Modi or similar to connect it to my PC?

      I am using the DAC via USB out of my computer. Volume on the computer is set to 85. Never moved it. Tried lowering it and no luck.... I am afraid my T1 isn't up for the HE-500's.

    I just plugged them into my Harmon|Kardon AVR and watched part of a BluRay. No distortion. Although, I had to max the receiver out to get a decent level of sound - assuming its under powered for the headphones. Sounded fantastic! Is the Aune T1 not a good match for this headphone?

    Anyone know how a Aune T1 with a 1966 PQ 7308 would pair with these headphones? I am having a hard time deciding between these and the HE-400s.   Thanks for any advice...

    Currently own Sennheiser 598's but....

    It was a no go on the Denon AH-D5000's. Leaning towards the HE-400's.
