Yep, volume is all the way up.  I guess I'll have to file a bug report with Moto.  That'll be a tricky endeavor.

Moto X + HifimeDIY U2 sabre - Unfortunately I don't have a powered USB hub to test (neither do any of my friends), so this one's a no go.  Y-split USB OTG cable doesn't help either.  I'll get music for about 2 seconds before the USB connection stops being detected.   Moto X + Fiio E18 = works...

Just tried the Hifimediy Sabre U2 USB DAC on my Moto X and it was mostly a no-go.  Whether I use a normal USB OTG cable or the Y-split OTG cable with it being powered at the other end, I only get audio for about 3-4 seconds on UAPP before it cuts out and the usb device is no longer detectable. ...

Hrmm, bright and harsh... That's funny because i also had to sell my Grado sr325s, which usually are considered bright and harsh! And I for one LOVED the Grados. Maybe it will be a 4p, i suppose i could rig up an adapter cable if i dislike the 4p THAT much.

Even though i have sold my headphone amps, i still loved listening with the Etymotics (hell, who wouldn't). Anyways, it wasn't until recently that my friend borrowed my ER4S that he somehow messed up one of the drivers. It's a friend that i trust, but i'm guessing somehow he turned it up too...

If it's your first time using the Etys, make sure you're getting a good seal. Otherwise, i usually listen to a song for a good 2-3 mins before i switch headphones. And test out one headphone at a time! Do AB tests, not ABC tests I think that if you listen to the mx500/ex70 first, then...
