SONY NW-WM1Z M2 / WM1A M2
After about five months with four DAPs mentioned above, to my surprise, the Sony WM1AM2 is the clear favorite! It just has a warmth and lush sounds that reminds me of some of the best high-end audiophile systems I've heard in my lifetime. Next would be the AK SP2000T and then the Fiio M11 Plus...- ericp10

SONY NW-WM1Z M2 / WM1A M2
Well, I went DAP-crazy over the holidays and picked up the WM1AM2 along with the Astell&Kern SP2000T and A&K SR35 (for portable) use. Oh, I picked up a Fiio M11Plus too about a month earlier (I love different sound signatures). The SP2000T is superb with its hybrid tube amp, but I think right...- ericp10

Thieaudio Monarch MKIII impressions, reviews, and pictures thread
I've been away for a minute, Head-Fi family, but a package holding these jewels made its way to my doorstep yesterday. I'm using an old Plenue DAP I found in one of my underwear drawers, and right now I'm listening to Barry White's "Playing Your Game Baby"! And those who know me know I am a...- ericp10

FiiO&JadeAudio Over-Ear Headphones Discussion & Impressions Thread
I don't. The earpads aren't any smaller than the average full-sized cans. The Focal Clear's pads, however, are wider (for what it's worth). And there is just the right amount of clamp forth and fell somewhat light across the head and over the ears. For me, they are comfortable.- ericp10

FiiO&JadeAudio Over-Ear Headphones Discussion & Impressions Thread
Let me get this out of the way: I believe in burn-in and I believe most headphones and earphones can change drastically after 50-100 hours of the process. With that stated, initial impressions of the FT3 are very impressive! FiiO continues on its trend upward with its sound visions! I would say...- ericp10

you must keep two headphones only
Right now I'm really digging the KLH Ultimate One (a severely underrated headphone). I like many of Z reviews, but he totally missed the boat on these during his youtube review a few years ago. Second one? Hmmm? Tough. I need to think about it a little longer (I like Thinksound ov21, NAD Viso...- ericp10

WiiM Streamers Mini and Pro
I just hooked up the WiiM Pro yesterday. It has blown my mind with the sound quality! I had no idea a streamer could sound this good. I don't even use the advanced Bluetooth connection in it. I use AirPlay 2 and Chromecast through my iPhone 12 Max Pro. They work seamlessly with my Yamaha A-S801...- ericp10

Let them burn in as they get better and better. They are still my go-to headphones (over the HD6XX and T1). Happy listening!- ericp10

The discovery thread!
Hello, FreeWheelinAudioLuv2: I still enjoy mine and a bit jealous of the great price fellow head-fiers can purchase them for now (I paid about $800 for mine back in the day...lol). I probably will buy a second pair when I catch them on sale again. Enjoy!- ericp10
