I own the Shure SE215 and theyre amazing. Ive also owned the klipsch image s4. I prefer the SE215 hands down but price might natter since the s4 is a bit less.

The thing for me is I could buy the JH13 pro freqphase I believe its called, for $1,099 and it supposedly has the same sound quality. Does anybody know if this is true? The HD800s sound nice but to get the same sound quality and have them custom fitted is a steal.

The diversity of the headphones are very different. They all have their ups and downs but they are all good cans for professional listening. For example, you have open back and closed back designs, removable and non removable cables,ect. I havent tried the HD650, but the ATH-M50s are no slouch...
