I tend to use my HD800S with my RME/WA2 pairing rather then RME/V281. Utopia only get used with the RME/V281. Perhaps that’s why I don’t find them too similar. I also tend to listen to different things with each. Utopia for EDM/Rock and HD800S for Jazz/soundtracks.

This is easily the best D8K setup I’ve seen. D8K over Pro Silver cable Pro pads I’ve spent a lot of time with the D8000 and Pro, and this is the perfect world scenario.

We have quite similar setups, Hugo 2, RME and V281. Great combinations and I echo your comments. 😀 I use my H2 exclusively with my Stellia at my office. RME/V281 does home duties.
