I have the U11 dongle , work fine with S8+. But the sound is much better from the S8+.

I have S8+ (Exynos, SM-G955F) and tested with AKG K712 Pro. Sound stage very good , beautiful mids with clean controlled base. Very impressed and nice upgrade from Note 3. Also tested against Cary cinema 11a preamp.
