Has anyone heard the RS1s with the MS1000 mod by any chance? Does it have the same kind of improvement that the MS1 --> MS1000 modification has (ie massive soundstage and an additional layer of base?)

Ahh that certainly sounds worthwhile looking into. Currently i'm using the Sound Blaster X-fi Elite pro (which I got for my 5.1 system). Do you think that the iBasso D10 would provide a significant improvement over my current setup?

I was just looking at getting a pair of RS1s. For those of you on this thread who are the fans of amplification - would you expect to see much benefit of a low end amp on the RS1s? Just hoping to get an idea what type of money I would need to fork out for an amp to have a decent impact on the...
