Glad your liking them so far. Quite a difference in sound :-). I see these on sale in Canada Costco for $45 off. Might see if I am still in the honor zone for that price. Would be awesome if they are... Worth what I paid though, just always appreciate getting some money back. At the sale price...

These don't sound good without power. They will work but that's about it. Muddy is a great description of their sound without power. But they are not really meant to be used without power so this is only a last resort. See if you can hear them again but with power and the cable, or just via...

SONY WH1000XM3 - better than QC35 in noise cancelling?

Not sure what you mean? If you disable touch controls how do you control the headphone? Only function I can change is the noise cancelling button, so guess not. The touch controls are better than my 1000XM3 though easy less fussy.

SONY WH1000XM3 - better than QC35 in noise cancelling?

Radsone doesn't use an app or if it does its app allows EQ. Sony on the other hand has chosen to not allow EQ in the Sony app if using LDAC. That doesn't mean I can't use an EQ in another app though so I like using Neutron as a music player for those circumstances. But for me I ended up going...

Crap, let me try that LOL. That would explain a lot. :xf_cool: Guess reading the manual is a good idea sometimes LOL.

One thing I find annoying about Head-fi these days is that only Chi-fi / discovery threads seem to get regular discussions these days. So threads like this only have small groups of people who ever find out about good midrange products like this from Sony. There was a day when a really good...

I realized earlier today I was actually listening on AAC so switched to LDAC and noticed it sounded a bit off. Just looked in developer mode and my phone was also using 32bit mode so switched to 24 bit and it sounds much better for me too. I like Shure but can't afford to even think about them...

I listen to a lot of 70s and 80s music which may explain why I like these so much. But I also love how jazz and classical music sound with them as well.

I think you will enjoy the HP70 in HD for sure. Enjoy :-) Let us know how you like the 910 if you get them.

That is true about Costco, it would be a good no lose scenario and I would be able to see if I like their sound and can live with the wind noise outside. Assuming they dont have an exemption on Headphone returns here in Canada. Here's hoping...

I have the precursor to the H900N and liked its sound but found them a bit heavy and clunky. They died recently when the battery kicked the bucket. I hope the 910 sounds a bit better in the dynamics.

The HP70 are slightly on the harsher side in APTx mode and much better in APTxHD mode if you phone can give HD mode. My old phone LG V20 can do both and they sound great but my new phone Samsung S9 is a bit to harsh for me at times. Size wise they are somewhat bulky and a bit on the heavy side...

I have to figure out how to buy a pair. They sound like what I wanted from the 1000XM3. How is the sound stage and imaging? Do they suffer from wind outside?

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

I own the L2P, MTW original, and Galaxy Buds and I like the L2P the most sonically. The MTW is warmer and wider sounding and like it second best but the L2P has better detail and an overall richer sound. The Galaxy buds sound a bit to thin to my ears.

I like my 4.50btnc so if the HD450BT is an update to it it might be a good upgrade.
