I wonder how they compare with the IE 80. Are these considered an upgrade over that model? Also, I'm wondering if the Comply ear tips can work with the IE 300's in lieu of the stock ear tips.

You can't go wrong with the TH900's, especially if you want to enjoy your listening session. These are no doubt fun headphones. If you're looking for something more neutral/studio reference, then definitely stay away from these HP's, lol. If you want to tame the treble, you can EQ down a bit...

I bought my GL2000's on Amazon. They shipped a month ahead of schedule, plus Amazon has a way better return policy than Drop. Also, Linsoul has a local warehouse in the US, so you also don't need to worry about customs if you need to return the headphones via Amazon.

Barring the fact they're 3x the cost of the GL2000's, what would you say are the differences in sound between them and the GL2000's?

So I compared the GL2000's vs my Fostex TH900's with the Dekoni Elite Hybrid pads. Also bought the Elite Sheepskin Fenestrated ones, but the hybrids turned out to be better. I gotta say, even with the enhancement to my TH900's, I still find myself switching between my TH900's and the GL2000's...

Just euthanize them now and get the hybrids lol. I honestly wish I got the hybrids right from the get-go.

In my opinion, the hybrid made the bass better and tighter, mids came out a bit more, and at least to my ears, opened up the soundstage a bit. Isolation is a bit better too.
