Backer #354 here. Still no word from James/Smyth. Are there still plans to fulfill the KS orders?

I'll probably be the last kickstarter backer to receiver their unit (I'm #354), so once I get mine they'll likely be finished with backers and will move on to pre-orders.

If the signals are pretty much the same per speaker, and the timing interval doesn't change, couldn't you construct one in Reaper for any amount of channels you wish to measure? Or you could set the realizer to measure a 24 channel system, use a few 8 or 16 channel USB I/O interfaces to capture...

So much BS and nonsense in this thread. Out of all the conspiracy theories that have come up here over the years, the idea that Smyth is intentionally sabotaging their niche product's functionality is probably the one that makes my head hurt the most.

I asked Smyth about a software solution years ago and their rational for sticking to hardware was the potential for piracy IIRC. I imagine being less able to control for certain variables was also part of it (like the microphones, the microphone inputs, the measuring signal, etc). That said...

Anyone know if Smyth is willing to ship a different version vs what you indicated in the survey? I'm backer #354 and requested the headstand version. My situation has changed though and the Realiser would no longer be for desktop use/would need to fit in a rack.
