NAD Viso HP50 : Another superb headphone from Paul Barton?
If they can fake the 45 degree headphone jack and the look...**** it's probably just as good!- dparker83

[REVIEW] Logitech UE9000 - Ultimate Ears HEADPHONES Released! The UE4000, UE6000 and the UE9000 - Impressions Thread
Yup don't buy UE9000 if you have a warranty issue you're screwed. They'll just tell you they've been discontinued and suggest replacing them with UE900 (not very similar!).- dparker83

AudiophileDesktop (Centrance)
Had them for a couple years too and wouldn't sell them. Very smooth, natural midrange. Enjoyable! Stereo imaging is precise and superb. Match them with the isoacoustics stands to get them off the desk and prevent early reflections and vibrations. Made a huge difference in my setup once I up...- dparker83

Are there headphones that recreate stereo like speakers in a room?
Check out the NAD Visio HP50's. They are acoustically tuned to mimic the sound of speakers in a room. I love them. Use them nonstop at the office. They have an easiness about them. Very pleasant.- dparker83

NAD Viso HP50 : Another superb headphone from Paul Barton?
HP50 is very comfortable for me, and I found the HD650 a little tight at times so I'm not immune to pickiness. :-)- dparker83

NAD Viso HP50 : Another superb headphone from Paul Barton?
I prefer the HP50 to the Momentums. I think the presentation on the Momentums is a tad forward. Plus the earpads on the HP50 have much more room for my ears. Only downside is the length of the HP50 cable is only 47"...at my office space I run them off of a Nuforce iDo that sits behind my...- dparker83

NAD Viso HP50 : Another superb headphone from Paul Barton?
Just got my HP50's unboxed and wow. They are extremely well balanced in tone. Not the overly fast treble you often find. Very warm and energizing (opposite of fatiguing). I'll compare to vmoda m100 with nuforce ido.- dparker83

New Audeze LCD3
Quote: Got an RMA# today. They must be really busy because this took 2 business days. How did you pack yours up? The form says not to use the wooden box. So I am thinking of using my travel box. Seems like the best way to ensure they aren't damaged during shipping.- dparker83

New Audeze LCD3
Quote: Yes sometimes I notice a click, especially when going to a lower volume setting. I haven't noticed it getting louder over time yet, but only owned my rig about a month so I'll keep you updated. Some other threads here mention the clicking, but most seem to think its normal for...- dparker83

New Audeze LCD3
Then I'd say consider a cheaper headphone. Why spend 1950$ and not get the performance. Comparing my Burson Soloist to the headphone output in my DACmini is like night and day for LCD3. But I lived without it for 6 months until I could afford. Definitely glad I upgraded. Incredibly satisfying. :-)- dparker83

Looking for headphones great for piano.
Couple other suggestions: 1) Schiit DAC/Amp combo for 200$ looks good. 2) You could get some Grados (SRi80...$80?) and pair them with an Audioengine D1 (169$). Good synergy there... 3) Also, I second the AKG recommendation.- dparker83
