Congrats. Mine is very quiet too.   How would you compare WA7 to Lyr+Bifrost combo?

  No noise with the RCA. Noise is equal on both channel with the USB though, so does that mean the USB cable has problems? I shall try to do some clean up like dogmatrix adviced tomorrow.

So I received the 601 today. As commented, this guys is very musical, much to my liking. The only problem is the background hum when music isn't playing. Is there a way to fix this?
