KSC-75 'Sportclips' detatch way too easily

I have two pairs that I stopped using because of the clips constantly popping off. (Not while wearing, but while taking on/off, and storing them.) They really should mark the drivers l/r so that it's easier to pop them clips back on to the correct driver.

    KOSS KSC75, already have PX100

You could certainly try them, but they aren't an upgrade, imo. I have personally enjoyed the px100 more. The clips are always popping off of both pairs of ksc-75 i have, which is annoying, especially since l/r aren't labeled.

Is it safe to leave an amplifier on continuously?

Is it safe to turn the surge protector on/off to turn the amp on/off and leave the amp & power supply in the on position always, or can this damage the amp/power supply?

Is the Nano the best mp3 player in its category?

The 4 gb Nano isn't really in the price range you mention. Personally, I do think it's best in class though, but YMMV. I wish the ipods had a seperate volume control, that has always bothered me.

Rank the components in order of importance

Amp seems more important to me than some give credit for....though I do not have experience with high end (1K+) sources. If I listen through headphones out of an ipod headphone jack, and listen to the same thing out of the headphone jack of a good pcdp, the pcdp sounds noticeably better. If I...

DT880 stock or Manufaktur (customs) - any differece in sound?

I can't imagine why they would sound better, since you're just doing things like changing headband material, earcup material, etc....the housings and the drivers are still the same. I do wonder if the sound varies from the 32/250/600 impendences.

    Headroom Millet Home module

Does the Headroom Milett use the discrete output, because on the site, it still says that it uses the HA5002?

Closed headphone or IEM for home use

I guess what it really comes down to is whether there is a closed sub $400-500 headphone that outpreforms the Shure e500. If not, I would just get the Shures. Maybe I can arrange to demo some e500s before I buy them, since I live very close to Shure's headquarters. Has anyone done that before?

Closed headphone or IEM for home use

I'm looking to upgrade from the Westone UM2 mainly for use at home. E500 is the obvious answer, but I'm sort of curious to try a closed headphone. My listening is mainly classical, classic rock, various other genres--mainly accoustic music. I'm looking for something kind of laid back to...
