Closed does not compete with open in a quiet environment. If noise isn't a factor, open is definitely the way to go.

Another strong recommendation of the A250, still the best-sounding headphone I've owned. Doesn't have much going in looks, very suspect durability, and slides a little too easily on the head...those are the only quibbles I can come up with in what are otherwise amazing headphones.

I highly doubt you'll find someone who've used that combo, simply because there only have been 1-3 people to ever even mention the Dice DAC on these boards.

Checked the Big Lots down in Lawrence, MA...no luck, just a bunch of Jensen phones I wouldn't dare touch.
