How did you go about replacing yours?

So this happened 3 days into owning the HE-500's     How do I fix this? Is their a cheap replacement (replacement, not upgrade) that I can get within 2-3 days? After the HE-400 fiasco I can't wait much longer

So, the story:   I was extremely impressed with the early previews of the HE-400's so I preordered a pair for $350. I got them and like most people, my left driver was faulty. So I shipped them to Head-Direct in New York for repair. 2 days later they announced the HE-500 upgrade program. So...

So I'll be shipping mine out for repair on Monday. Going to really miss not having them for 2-3 weeks. Luckily they only need to be shipped back to NY, not China.

 I've fallen victim to the left side cutting out too.   Edit: just did the screw tightening fix and everything appears to be normal again. Hopefully this is a one-time issue
