I also have a Serene KTE preamp and have driven it with my Holo May and driven my RAAL headphone amp direct without my preamp with no issues. So far, it's never caused me any problems and I suspect most inputs balanced limits are above the fixed output of the Holo DAC.

Has anyone tried Moon-Audio's Silver Dragon Premium cables for the SR1a headphones? They seem MUCH CHEAPER and more affordable than RAAL Requisite's own cables. Also, RAAL is out of stock of all of their silver cables.

Its also a smaller ribbon driver than the SR1-a and its not considered their TOTL headphone as indicated by the price difference. Its just different.
