Wow. I've got an.. erm.. "copy" of Photoshop. I've been meaning to give it a shot but haven't yet.

Music encoded with Windows Media Player incompatible with Rockbox?

I know sometimes if I encode with WMP at high bitrates, they won't work on my Sony NW-A608. I think it's something to do with MPEG-1 Layer 3 vs. MPEG-2 Layer 3. Funny thing is, it doesn't do it all the time!

    Looking for Bang-for-Buck IEMs

Thanks for all your opinions! I've finally settled on the Etymotic ER6i. Looks like the best fit for me.. reasonable price, the sound seems to be getting favourable reviews, etc. I would like the SF5 Pro, but.. well, price in comparison to the ER6i is just too big a jump. I've decided to...

RockBox iPod 5G vs. Zen Vision:M

Alright.. update time. I picked up a black ZV:M for 379.99$ Canadian from Best Buy, loaded up a couple of my favourite albums. I'm in the process of comparing the two right now. RockBox's EQ is better than the ZV:M's, but I think I'm leaning towards the ZV:M's general sound quality right now...

    Ipod headphone output

I believe I heard somewhere that it was 30mW/30mW for a total of 60mW, but I may be mistaken. I know the sound quality from the headphone out and the line out is the same, but I'm not sure about the power.

    iriver H120

I have one I'd used for a while... It's sitting there in its box collecting dust now, but it was a fantastic player. I still take it out from time to time and give it a listen, but not much else. The allure of colour screens was too much for me, and I'm not a fan of the H340.

    Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!

Personally, because of the Blu-Ray deal, I think the PS3 will be one of those slow-to-catch-on products. Slower start, but I'm sure it'll pick up. Hey, a lot of people justified picking up the PS2 at the start because it had a DVD player...

Just ordered mine papa an iaudio u2 . . . it's all good?

Alright, if he was TRULY non-electronics savvy you should've got him a Shuffle. No, really. The U2 is nice.. one of my friends bagged one. Real easy to get music onto, but the navigation takes a while to get used to. Thing earlier iRiver flash players.
