Audio extension cable length
My headphone cable length is insufficient. I'm looking to get an extension cable to plug into my computers headphone jack. Does the length (say 3 meters vs 1.5 meters) negatively affect the audio? There is no amplifier.- DexterMorgan

The Hardest hitting Headphones are.. ( "The EXTREME BASS Club")
Actually, the 77x are pretty good for higher freqs too. I also have the Beyerdynamic DT770 pro, and I listen to the JVCs more. They are quite enjoyable. Since you like the JVC signature, I recommend the 77x. You might be disappointed with the lack of bass in others.- DexterMorgan

Fostex x Massdrop TH-X00 Review
I hope there will be future drops. I managed to resist the temptation to buy one. $400 is a LOT for me. My previous most expensive headphones were 105 euro, which were in turn a big jump from the ones before that (70 euro). BTW, how much would the cost have been without the mahogony...- DexterMorgan

Fostex x Massdrop TH-X00 Review
Just last year I purchased my most expensive headphones: about 70 euro shipped. Then last month, I happened to get in on a flash sale at amazon and got the DT770 pro for 105 euro shipped. I though "man these are expensive, but I've had these in my eyes for a couple of years". Now, I'm tempted...- DexterMorgan

The Lack of Instrument Seperation in Modern Music
The music of the last 15 years has had some great tunes, unfortunately instrument seperation for some reason has been ditched. Is there a reason for this? If you listen to Mr. Mister - Broken Wings, Roxette - Salvation, Depeche Mode - Enjoy the Silence, you can make out each instrument...- DexterMorgan

HBB, You consider applying for a job at JVC? As part of your application, write a short proposal on SZ2000 V2.- DexterMorgan

There obviously is a market for the XB1000 as demonstrated by the view count. I wonder why Sony discontinued the model? The same with JVC. There are lot of fans of JVC here. Is it just that the marketing dept of JVC sucks and needs to hire HBB & DSnuts?- DexterMorgan
