I think I'm confused on what exactly the LA2000s were. I thought they were just D2000s with markl mod, D7000 cups, and upgraded wires...same as your second one. What else is different?

Mine is at 800 currently in Foobar and I use the Audinst. I've pretty much used the Audinst with everything with no problems. Sorry to hear about yours.
