Rupert Neve RNHP - humming(cicada) noise
Just got the RNHP, but I am getting a cicada noise. I believe it due to the power supply being non-original, looking at Z's unbox of the RNHP and he mention it 24V 0.4A power supply, where I got a 12V 3.0A power supply. Does anyone know where I can order the original power supply, or what I can...- DarkDEV28

Expensive RCA cables? Should they be magnetic?
Gimmeheadroom, thanks for reassuring me about the expensive cable not changing the sound. Though I was wondering if the magnetism has to do with the cable wiring being all plated in gold? -
Expensive RCA cables? Should they be magnetic?
Heyo, this is first post so I don't know if I am doing this correct. I recently acquired some Audio Metallurgy Gold Alloy Interconnect RCA cable, which feels premium, but I can't hear a different between my cheap Japanese RCA cable, and super thin aux cable on my JDS Labs Atom Amp. My question...- DarkDEV28

That is a bit confusing, because most modern Stax Energizer I know of require a wall outlet. Where my SRD-4 adapter for the SR-40 just require to be hooked up to a speaker out on a amplifier, so I don't believe that the SR-40 to be engerized by the adapter.- DarkDEV28

That news, because the only electret headphone I was familiar with is the STAX SR-40 with it 5 pin plug that required the adapter to hook into the speaker output of the amp.- DarkDEV28
