I'm another user of UE900 + DX90. But I'm using the EQ as I found the sound to be abit warm and dull with EQ turned off.

I'm experiencing some cracking sound on my DX90. Don't think it's my tracks or earphones as I have no problem with them on my iPhone. Is there something wrong with my dx90?

I was trying to make myself like the sound from LO but it really wasn't working for tracks with strong bass. It made me regret getting the DX90 over the X5 and I had thoughts selling it to get the X5 instead. Luckily I chance upon a earlier thread and realize what I was doing wrong all this time.

Okay this is super embarrassing but I'm going to take back what I said about the bass of DX90. Turns out I've been plugging in to Line Out for the past few days! The change is like day and night after switching to Phone Out. Happy user now!

What tracks do u all recommend for burning in?

I tried the fiio X5 with my UE900 and the bass performs better than on the Dx90. But I prefer the details and clarity on the Dx90, guess you can't have both haha. I like how i can remove the battery and plug in directly to power and burn in.

Will the bass performance improved with burn in? I feel that the bass is somehow lacking in dance tracks.

Yeah I tried 2 difference cables. I just successfully charged another device with the micro USB cable supplied with the dx90. Sigh, this is so frustrating.

I've removed the battery, put it back on and same thing. How does removing the drivers help? There's no response when I plug into my computer, and I'm using a Mac.

I was using a iPhone charger initially and now trying the iPad charger. Is there any button to press to hard reset it? Or should I just keep it plug in? But it shouldn't take so long to charge right? Pretty bummed because I just bought it yesterday and this has to happen. Hoping it's not dead.

Yes the screen refuses to light up even when I keep holding the power button.
