Has anyone gotten ear pads for these recently?

FYI crack is in normal place, plastic where adjustment is made fore sizing.

I am considering putting my DX1000 up for sale. Guess it can be cannibalized for parts. Works perfectly but a crack that I superglued on one side long ago and hasn't been a problem since. Earpads could be replaced for sue but they are useable. I moved away to speaker based system a while back...

I love all my finals, the fi-ba-ss, Heaven VIII and Lab1. Lab1 is most extended though. Fi-ba-ss is kinda like my HD800s and Heaven VIII is lush and warm. I use them all with comply tips.

The VIII is bigger but more comfortable than the Lab1 actually.

I have the lab 1, fibass and VIII. I like them all in their own place. Often I choose the VIII over the other two.

If I didn't have one I'd go for that price too.

I have all of those except px. Fibass sounds more like an open headphone very raw and bass is light due to the openness. Heaven the VIII is more brassy and fulll but less detail and open sound/less separation but still good. Lab1 has more extension than either and you can see the possibilities...

Had some live music that i was listening to on the mid-fi speaker system which is pretty realistic, had to move to headphones due to wife and went through several until i pulled these out. It felt like Goldilocks finding the perfect bed in the fairytale. This one is juuuust right. Aaahhhhh.

Amp may help the output impedance. AK daps have issues with some low impedance Iems so maybe the amp would help that. For instance the ak320 output impedance is 2ohm and the chord Hugo is .075 ohm-better for Iems under 16 ohm. Can't find an output impedance listing for the ak380 external amp though.

Let us know, we all need that part!
