They can get heavy, but Denon's D class is probably the most comfortable brand of headphone I've ever worn.

Extremely difficult to narrow it down. I'd say it's mainly electronic, ambient, hip-hop, neo-classical, and folk/indie folk. Yes, I'd say all of those are my favourites.

I've loved my D2Ks for a few years now. They were (are) my first 'audiophile' headphone—but now I'm thinking of upgrading to a 5000 or even a 7000 (if I get the grant I applied for ;) ), along with a DACport. Good idea?

Oh dear. I guess this is what people mean when they describe internet forums as "serious business". I'll answer the question. Chillwave, post-rock, and dubstep primarily... but they pale in comparison to witch house.

Quite a fair share of Peter Gabriel's music. "Up" (2002) in 24bit is oft-relied upon for my testing.   Shivers. Also, a ton of Röyksopp's music.   Jesus. If you can watch that video in 720p fullscreen (especially 1:52 onward) and not feel awed... you should get your nervous...
