Nexus 5x and 6p sound quality
I generally try to stay away from subjective opinions like that and leave it to the pros with more experienced ears and fancier measurements systems than I have! However if we don't see anything in a couple of days I'll post up my opinions. I haven't really gotten much time with the...- cthip

Nexus 5x and 6p sound quality
Just got my 5X. On first impression, it's not any worse than a Nexus 5, and perhaps slightly better. The big issue is that wired headsets (Xiaomi Piston) that worked perfectly on the Nexus 5 don't work at all on the 5X. No sound, no mic, and controls don't work. There are threads on xda...- cthip

Nexus 5 Sound Quality?
I'll agree with this. I had the opportunity to listen to the Nexus 5 this weekend and compared it to my old Nexus S 4G with a Wolfson DAC, Voodoo Sound, and PowerAmp player. On the Nexus 5 I used Google Play with all standard settings, not sure how the tracks were ripped/encoded/downloaded...- cthip
