Just posting for future searchers...I picked up some JVC Spiral Dots (size M - I usually wear the small stock tips, but stock medium fit fine). Really happy with them, even though the installation was a P.I.T.A. I think the main benefit (for me) comes from the fact the Spiral Dots are shorter...

I listen to metal related music daily. I had the iSine 10 for about a year and a half and loved them. I only upgraded to the 20 because of a B Stock sale. It's been so long that I can't give you a comparison anymore but I don't think you'd go wrong with either one - especially if you can find...

The Q7+ is $350 new, the G7 is $750. At least from T-Mobile (and I don't want to dick with G7 BOGO stuff). The Q7+ is smaller as well. But see my post on the previous page if you haven't already. Sounds like the Redditor I mentioned also returned the Q7+ and went with the more expensive G7...

2 steps ahead of you, I got a V30 coming Tuesday. :) If I recall, there was only a DTS symbol on the box as far as audio goes. Yep..pretty weird. Oh well, lesson learned. Hope it helps someone else before they buy it.

For -core type, I've found my favorite to be the Audeze iSine 20 (or 10). I'll throw on 1more duals, with foam tips if I need more privacy in the office. But after reading up on Metal-Fi forums I'm waiting on the Periodic Audio Be to show up and hope they live up to the hype, for a better closed...

  What is your source? Make sure you're getting a good seal. I prefer the included foam hybrid tips.

Of course. They don't sound the same as many other IEM's was my point. That's why I said typical Knowles sound.

In my opinion... If you are unhappy with typical Knowles balanced armature treble, and want more detail from a single dynamic driver IEM, these are the winner. I find the treble to be much more natural sounding...less..."crashy" or "loose" yet still plenty of detail. Pairing with an LG V20...
