Philips Fidelio NC-1 announced today--the first Fidelio active noise-canceler
Norwegian Consumer-site DinSide rated these as best-in-test even ahead of Boses new top-model and PSB M4U2 (my current favorite). Link: http://www.dinside.no/931885/test-8-hodetelefoner-med-aktiv-stoydemping Short summary: Balanced sound - best SQ in test NC does not affect sound...- Costanza76

Philips Citiscape Downtown review – Bass!!! Oh God the Bass!!! Oh look, Mids!!!
It comes down to the choice of colour really: The purple is rather flashy, the white is (to me) the most boring choice, while the brown/mocca is the most stylish and elegant. I wear my brown Downtowns with pride :) BTW: The sound, oh, the sound!- Costanza76

PSB M4U 2
Purchased these babies yesterday. Haven't been able to use them much so far, except from one rather short bus-trip, but will get back to you after some burn-in :) Sure looks good though!- Costanza76

Philips Citiscape Downtown - first opinion
Quote: Ooops: Was thinking of the T50p, NOT the DT 1350!!! My bad (Original post changed) I guess it boils down to me being unable to come to terms with the soundsignature of the T50p (not able to get a proper seal). The DT1350's I haven't been able to audition so far.... :(- Costanza76

PSB M4U 2
Had a rather quick listen to it at a local store yesterday. Build quality looked excellent - not as flashy as many of its NC-counterparts. Running it in both passive, active (amp-mode) and NC-mode. Amp-mode is btw. def. the way to go as far as SQ is concerned. Ever so much better at what...- Costanza76

I've been in the market for a pair of decent portable phones for a while now, but in spite of extensive reasearch haven't been able to find something to my liking - until nown (maybe). Got...- Costanza76
