hi, i succesfully took steel sheathing out of the cable lastnight. rather unusual way. 1) peel the end of the rubber(one covering steel sheathing) cover off ( near to the plug ) 2) cut the end of the steel sheathing (about 2mm) 3)now you can simply uncoil the sheathing. it comes off...

yes, like the one you can find in music store listening bar. I have dbi pro700, nice sound but the steel wraped cable is very heavy.

earpads on gmp8.35 looks little small. do they sit around ear or on your ear? do you know how much gmp8.35d cost ?

i have heard german maestro gmp8.35 is same phone as mb quart qp805.however, there are four different versions of mb quart qp805. qp805demo, qp805hs, qp805monitor,and qp805m. I think qp805monitor is the same model as gmp8.35. I am not 100% sure. Do anybody know about this for sure? also...
