The New HIBY R3 II is here. 4.4MM Jack; Improved Sound and Bluetooth.

Sorry for the delay, I just noticed this message. I answer "yes and no and Yes." Yes - if I click next or back, there's no delay. No - If I scroll to a group and click the artist (to bring up albums by this artist) there can be a slight delay (with screen time opening the sub folder nothing...

The only lag that I've experienced is a slight delay in album art. Recent firmware has improved this, but when scrolling it's still noticeable. I have over about 23,000 songs which are all mp3's.

HibyMusic Android and iOS Music Player - Bit-perfect USB Output; Network and Dropbox Streaming

Although there is no doubt that this app still has a long ways to improve and I mean A LOT ! in fairness... the "????????" is not the fault of the app. Some of your music is lacking the proper ID's. When I first got my Hiby R3, I had a lot of the "????????" too. I cleaned up the file names and...

@kingdixon The last suggestion I can offer will probably not be of much help. Initially, I had problems with my computer being able to recognize and read my drive. This was because I was using an old laptop that was Windows Vista. When I switched laptops and plugged my hiby r3 via usb to a...

Also, if you need to format your card, here's a site that may help. I haven't tried it, but it looks legit. https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter/index.html

Earlier, you mentioned that it was "write protected.." I know that with standard size SD cards, there's a lever on the side that can be moved up or down. This is a toggle that means that if in one direction, you can't add or remove files (but only copy files from the card). This prevents...

HibyMusic Android and iOS Music Player - Bit-perfect USB Output; Network and Dropbox Streaming

I've so far yet to see any iphone person (including myself) that has been able to scan their files on their phone without it crashing. The weird part is that hibymusic had an update in December. Did it address the crashing issue? No. Actually, it became more difficult to achieve a bluetooth...

He isn't affiliated with Hiby. Because he has devoted some of his own time to make these modifications (and out of kindness) I don't think that it wouldn't seem right to tag him. I also use his modifications. It was one of the reasons that I purchased the Hiby R3 (Joe Bloggs participation in...

Great news to read that there's a new firmware update. Due to not seeing a download file on Hiby's site, I tried something different (to me). I downloaded directly from my r3 (usually, I dowload and place on my SD card). After the direct download, I'm unsure how to proceed. Could someone...

When I first added files to my Hiby r3, I also had some "unknown" files. I can confirm that this is a result of mp3 files not being properly tagged. This can be easily fixed, but depending on how many "unknown" files you have, it can be time consuming. I should point out that this isn't the...

This is great and encouraging news! Also while I may sound a little critical toward Hiby, I want to express my appreciation for your educational and informative contributions. Your input here was one of the deciding factors of why I chose a Hiby product.

On their facebook forum, they 'claim' to have a firmware update in progress, but time will tell. I doubt it will contain a search function or anything. I like the standard R3 and am over all satisfied, but this company does seem to work toward promoting new(er) products before tweaking their...

HibyMusic Android and iOS Music Player - Bit-perfect USB Output; Network and Dropbox Streaming

I've read through the above suggestions and still having major problems with my iphone and the hibymusic app. ID tags are correct, album artwork is properly labeled. This all looks fine on the Hiby R3 unit and also looks fine on the default Iphone music player. However... when I prompt...

When I purchased the R3, the current firmware version was 3.2. Like you, I also have no interest in Tidal/Qobuz and use this strictly for access to the SD card. I've tried the 3.3 firmware and also downgraded to all available versions (in effort to find the best version) I am a big fan of...
