Sennheiser HD 600 Impressions Thread
you're not alone - i also found the 6XX extremely veiled, almost like a cloth over it. i corroborated my findings with multiple other people as well, so it's definitely just my ears. i haven't tried many others (2 6XX and a 650) so i'm not too sure if it was just minor QC or pad differences.- chocolates

For sale are the limited-edition ATH-MSR7SE closed back headphones. These come from the same family as the MSR7 and MSR7b but have a more balanced sound signature than either of them, along with a completely different driver. The most striking feature about these headphones, though, is the look...- chocolates

For sale are a pair of Andromeda Snow White LE IEMs from Campfire Audio. Looking for laid-back speakers for a large, square room
hmm, I suppose I'd call the harbeths as laid-back - a little less dynamic, a little weaker attack, but tonally superior to the fyne audio speakers I tried, which overall made it sound better in my opinion. nothing too harsh and the bass wasn't muddy or boomy, which was great unfortunate the... -

I'm looking for speaker recommendations under $5k (I can stretch but I'd actually much prefer the $3k-4k range) my electronics are: Magnavox CDB650 Schiit Bifrost (for streaming or direct from a computer) Accuphase C265 pre Accuphase...- chocolates

curious if there's any interest in a pair of SR-404LE, SR-L NB, or SR-Sigma NB in here - would prefer to sell to head-fiers who frequent this thread first before listing it on ebay and other marketplaces decided I'm perfectly happy with my SR-007mk1 and KGSSHV Carbon - chocolates

i'm fairly certain that the parts cost less than the cost of the carbon he's selling, especially at scale - but the parts he's using may not be up to spec with the ones built by other more well-known builders- chocolates

the RK50 is an audible improvement but i don't believe JR amps have them - i think they all use RK27 unless otherwise specified just curious but are there any buyers still interested in STAX headphones? i've got a couple lambdas i do not use (due to sticking with my SR-007) but can't seem to...- chocolates

i am really impressed with the bass on the SR-404LE, Sigma NB, and SR-007mk1 - wonder why it's notably better on these models? especially the sigma, since it shares a driver with the original SR-L- chocolates
