Is the crackhead only DIY?  and how hard is this to actually put together.   Don't wanna mess up some simple soldering and half the lifetime of my amp.

Well in my setup the line of outputs is "24/96; 16/48; 16/44.1; 16/48 m24/96; 16/48; 16/44.1; 16/48 m"  so as far as I know it looks like both those sample rates are supported.  Cant figure out why it wouldn't be able to output those formats though.  Hoping adobe audition will make this a breeze...

Also I'm trying to make all my connections balanced and was wondering if anyone could tell me if the fiio e7/e9 using usb to my computer would be balanced.  then output goes 1/4" trs to male xlr and then to female xlr and dual male xlr into the 1/4" trs inputs of my Bx5a's.   Really hoping...
