I don't care about the rank or measurement, all i care is how it sounds to my ears based on my preference and everyone ears are unique with their own preference.

There's two option Dual ES9281PRO ( integrated AMP each ) or Single ES9281PRO with dedicated Dual AMP to achieve balanced amplification. Based on spec Sparrow most likely using Single DAC and Dedicated dual AMP Similar amplification topology like Shanling UA2 and FiiO KA3

+1 and 05 more rounded, refined, less edgy / rough then 03/04 The Cirrus Logic Siblings ( more on sterile side IMO )

Yes iBasso DC05 with updated firmware sounds really impressive and new cable sleeve feels robust ☕

structure not fitting

Timeless is very easy to drive, good sub bass and high extension + texture but it too much mid bass for my liking kinda bloated IMO bad housing structure & mmcx loose 😓

To clarify Inline mic and volume control CTIA is working on UP5 3.5mm SE port i hope software team can added volume control slider function in app for convenience and also prolonged rotary volume lifetime.

it's totally true, unless I'm using very sensitive IEM 👍 high gain is make amp section in 100% capacity I've been tested it with my Standard CTIA ( non apple ) earbuds it works In-line mic + volume controller

It will but need 50 step on high gain dual mode. ( with ddhifi DJ44C ) Balanced is highly recommended i need around 32-40 step 🙌 ( in love with this little device ) I'm always using High Gain in every device i have and not using EQ 😃
