I appreciate the advice. I went ahead and took the leap of faith on the Fidelio's. I'm hopeful they will work out in the end. Should I run into any issues I might just take a look at those Grados- CasetteKid85

Upgrading from Fidelio X2 ($500 Budget)
I'm actually thinking of getting some Fidelio X2's or a varient thereof. How would you rate their durability? Particularly the support arms. I tend to destroy those as I have an over-sized head.- CasetteKid85

Thanks for the input. I see now that the Fostex are in fact quite hard to drive. I don't know why I was under the impression that they are non-amp friendly.- CasetteKid85

Budget - ~$150 Use - Music/Gaming/Movies My plight - I would love nothing more than to own a decent pair of headphones.
