Looking for a durable, balanced IEM

Ok, I also found the GR07 MK2 CLASSIC for 125 dollars including shipping which translates to about 90 euros. That would be a bargain for me.   Are they just as good as the original MK2's?

I was referring to the different iterations in the MK2 model.   This is a case for the GR07 (MK1 if you will)     Then there's still the two different versions of the MK2:               And this one:     I'm guessing the smaller box version of the MK2 comes with the black tips...

Looking for a durable, balanced IEM

I still have one question left.   After alot of searching around I came to the conclusion that there are apparently 2 different versions of both the GR07MK2 and the GR07BE.   This version of the MK2 has colored rubber tips:     And this version of the MK2 has all black eartips:  ...

How does the GR07 Bass edition differ from the GR07 MK2? Do many people prefer the Bass edition over the MK2?

Looking for a durable, balanced IEM

I looked this one up but reading about bad contacts and bad durability overall, this one is off-putting for me.     I think I need to decide between the IE80/IE8 from Senn or still go for the GR07 and live with the non-detachable cable.   I did read the GR07 handles metal especially well so...

The ear guides, yes. Thanks for answering.   Do you also happen to know if there are any good IEM's with detachable cables out there?

Are the GR07 just as comfortable without the earrubbers? I'm thinking I would be losing them within a week so if the GR07 can easily go without them it would be a great plus.

Dear Head-Fiers,     I'm looking for some IEM's that sound well without amplification, have a balanced sound signature and I would like them to be pretty durable as well.   Max budget is about 160 euros/dollars.     Currently looking at:   -Vsonic GR-06, 59 euros -Vsonic GR-07 Mk2 ...

Quote: But I read you had to turnoff the Asgard in some weird way or otherwise it's gonna damage the drivers, is this true? Do you even need to turn off the amp?

What kind of amp would work well with the Maddogs? Just ordered a pair and want to pair it with an amp that will fit the MD's sound signature.

    HD600 vs HD650 vs Maddogs vs DT880's for metal/rock and all-round use.

Quote: Does it really impact the sound signature that much? Are there graphs available or something?
