Hifiman Megamini 1st Impression
Hi, I don't have the exact specs but the front and back is cool to the touch in room temperature so I am inclined to think it is fully made from aluminium. However, there's a finishing on it. Like paint. So there's a little bit of texture if one was to look closely.- bumblebeezack

Hifiman Megamini 1st Impression
Hifiman Megamini 1st Impressions I was fortunate to be approached by AV One in Singapore to review the new Hifiman Megamini. Frankly, I really have no idea what to expect from such a diminutive player. To be honest, I didn’t know Hifiman had such a player in the works! However, I...- bumblebeezack

The iBasso DX50 Thread - Latest firmware: 1.9.5 - June 30, 2016
Hi, guys! First time for me to share anything on this thread, and I'm sorry if this has been mentioned before. With the latest firmware 1.9.3, I have managed to get the following to work, whereas previously I can't. As a DAC for Windows with Foobar2000 and Jriver. Will also output DoP as...- bumblebeezack

How Many Times Have Your LCD3 Headphones Been Returned to Audeze for Servicing (RMA)?
I agree wholeheartedly with what you are saying. I too belong to the no loudspeakers headphone only crowd. I think I may have muddled myself somewhat but I meant to say romanticizing a headphone when one compares it to say a Ferrari or say other so called supercars or hypercars. Or any analogy...- bumblebeezack

How Many Times Have Your LCD3 Headphones Been Returned to Audeze for Servicing (RMA)?
Yeah, I've read some of those threads. I do like the sound of the LCD 3 and 2 over the LCD X though... It's illogical perhaps that I'm still thinking of buying an Audeze despite their problems. But I see listening to music as an endeavor far from logic! The EL8 seems a more modern approach...- bumblebeezack

How Many Times Have Your LCD3 Headphones Been Returned to Audeze for Servicing (RMA)?
I've been doing a lot of reading on Head-fi and elsewhere because I like how the LCD series sound and while I don't want to spend money on a new LCD 3, I am seriously considering an LCD 2, and for a bit more, I can get my hands on a used LCD X or LCD 3. The new EL-8 somehow isn't the sound I...- bumblebeezack

Audio-Technica IM50, IM70 Discussion Thread
I was sitting on the fence on whether I should purchase the IM50 because I'm more used to a slightly different sound signatures from my headphones. But I wanted an affordable in-ear that I could run directly off my DX50. I keep coming back to audition the IM50 because I keep saying to myself...- bumblebeezack

MEElectronics M6 PRO Musician's In-Ear Monitors
You definitely have a point with single BA IEM in general. It can become a case of compromise. If you are looking at the Flc 8, then do yourself a favor and check out the DN2KJ as well if you have a chance to audition them before buying. Both are really good and are worthy of each other. But...- bumblebeezack

MEElectronics M6 PRO Musician's In-Ear Monitors
Hi, I guess it comes down to a matter of preference. There's nothing very wrong with the A151, but the A151 is a single BA, and I personally find that single BA sometimes suffer from a lack of dynamic range. They tend to be either too thin sounding or too warm. The A151 sounds a little anemic to...- bumblebeezack

MEElectronics M6 PRO Musician's In-Ear Monitors
A little late in the game but I just purchased an M6 Pro. I am mainly a headphones guy and my daily driver is the Ibasso DX50 with Fiio E12A driving a DT1350. I wanted a cheapie in-ears that I don't have to baby too much, that I could use directly off the DX50 and I finally settled on a...- bumblebeezack

Woo Audio Amp Owner Unite
Just an update of my personal experience with the Brimar 5Z4G. As in the words of Meghan Trainor, "It's all about the bass"! :D Frankly, I didn't expect that I'll be able to hear much difference. But was I surprised. Nice... I like! It also tames some sibilance for me as well, which is a bonus...- bumblebeezack

The NIKON Thread (Talk About Nikon Stuff here)
Hi everyone, I'm a Nikon user. Although I'm impartial to any camera I can work with comfortably. Just wanna share a photo taken with a Nikon: I have to say though that on holidays, I usually just use my Fuji X100T which is capable of photos like so: Just a disclaimer. I work as a...- bumblebeezack
