Looking for pair of headphones to buy tomorrow, boxing day :)
If your somewhere that has a FS you might be able to get to a TigerDirect store that carries so decent equipment, both the HD485 - http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicatio...&sku=S302-1142 - and the CX300 - http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicatio...045&CatId=2381 - are well reviewed and well within...- brainstorm

I'm gonna say this once...
Try the Antec p180 - http://www.antec.com/us/productDetails.php?ProdID=81800 - it's a case built to reduce noise. I've got some friends who are the "hardcore" gamer types who use this case and I have to say it's pretty damn effective.- brainstorm

Gaming/Skyping headphone with mic
X2 on the idea of combining a good set of headphones with a clip-on mic, for gaming I'm using the HD485 + the Zalman clip-on and couldn't be happier.- brainstorm

I'd really take a look at the HD485s... their pretty under appreciated here being a budget headphone but I have a set that works pretty well for what I paid for them... this thread and another one elsewhere is what sold me - http://www6.head-fi.org/forums/showt...ighlight=HD485- brainstorm
