    My new 3x9V CMoy

Hello Zigis,   This is great. I actually had a similar idea, but different. The link is here: http://www.head-fi.org/t/557103/new-power-supply-design-for-cmoy The difference is, using Li-Ion. I have not included the charging portion, of which is based on USB. I have already made an...

    Raspberry Pi & DIY

Hi, Sorry for the late reply. It is great everything is "working", albeit slowly. As for the popping, it may have to do with jitter. Not sure how you can get around that, maybe a different driver to make it work in async mode? Just a wild guess.   Btw, thanks for the follow-up.

CMoy Revisited - with Metallized Polycarbonate & or Metallized Polyester, Conductive Polymer Solid Aluminium & Tantalum Capacitor

Hi qusp,     Quote: They are actually axial. On eBay, they are anywhere from a couple of $$ each to a very nice sum :-)   I got some of them yesterday, and actually found some others while I was there.   I will be posting pics soon, and commenting on what each one is - except...

    Raspberry Pi & DIY

Hi wakibaki, I have a suggestion for you, if you would like to try it out. Once you get your new one in, if you have an old PSU lying around, then that is perfect. Here are the steps, this is to make sure that everything will work ok. Make two simple linear - only because they are easier...

    Raspberry Pi & DIY

New power supply design for CMoy

Hi, Not sure if someone else has posted previously for using the TC962, but I find it a very convenient item to do a lot of things :-) I have posted a few different versions in a blog I have so I would not have to take a lot of premium space here in the forum pages.   The link is here:  ...

Where to get Altoids in "Down Under"?

Hey Martioz, As da_burl mentioned, you can use the Fisherman's Friend tin, but it is smaller I think than the altoids. It measures apprx. : 6cm (max) x 5cm x 1.2cm. I got mine from Safeway awhile back. But be careful it is very "flimsy" (delicate). You can always go down to your local chemist...
