I had the chance to buy these for $30 shipped so I said why not try...They are good headphones and real tough. Without an amp the bass has good impact and sound is quite clear. ATH-W5000 vs ATH-W1000??
I could use someone's opinion. I recently got the w1000 and am totally unhappy with the low end, i hear lots of distortion. Very comfortable as well, but I also have a small head so it would be nice if they were tighter.- boostinduced

Xone XD-53 ? Anyone have this?
I have them and after breaking them in they're awesome. you must really give them a chance cuz when i first got them i thought they sounded horrible. Also i always had supra-aural so the A&H didn't fit me head perfect but they take your shape after a month or so, and they can go loud or pretty...- boostinduced

About to get my first set of "real" cans
So I got the A & H headphones today and I've got to say they are extremely comfortable. The sound has great bass that is clean, however besides that the sound doesn't have the clarity on the higher notes as the technics rp-dj1200A. I know many ppl dont respect the technics but I trust my ear...- boostinduced
