As far as I remember this is a thing with Denafrips DACs for example, because they don't have a dedicated output stage.

At least on the sample PCB it appears that the PSU only uses one bypass cap now (with bigger power filtering choke in the PSU section). So all in all it should only need 3 caps with MK3. At least it appears that way for me. Concerning balanced. It's easily said that true balanced would be nice...

I‘m not in the US so I did not order from Kitsune. From Wildism it took 5 days. Ordered last Friday and received it yesterday. I had the tracking 2h after placing the order and sending the money. Wildism always manages to outdo himself :clap:.

Very glad you found the sound you like. On this level it really comes down to preference. Built quality of Holo is hard to beat for sure. Wandla build isn't an issue for me but Holo has them beat there for sure. I'm looking forward to compare the Cyan 2 with Wandla now. After owning Spring 3...

I'm in the same position of waiting to buy one. I think directly from MP-homepage will be the safest bet. I wrote them 2 weeks ago and the mentioned it should be back in stock in late April. Gotta be patient I guess. I'm also sitting here with tubes and caps for it ready to go :wink: .

When struggling with distortion you can also try a lower input voltage from Hugo 2 going into Euforia. High input voltage was never a problem on mine but might be worth trying just to see if that makes a difference.

Only the side touching the head is perforated on the Bokeh pads. The other sides of the pads are solid. So I think it might at least be worth a try.
