Portable headphones suggetsion
You all are going to think I'm crazy, but I just ordered a pair of MX500 fron Newegg hoping they may be comfortable in my ear. It was only 19 bucks shipped so if it doesn't work out I can just sell them to someone.- bil

If the MX500 is 1.905cm then I guess they're out too because they're larger than these stock earbuds. Thank you for taking the time to measure them joelongwood. I think we're getting out of range here with the Grados and the PX200. Do the KSC-55's stay on any better than the 50s? What...- bil

Portable headphones suggetsion
I recently got a Samsung Yepp 700H mp3 player, and I need some portable headphones/earbuds to go with it. I can't find the Koss 35's, and from what I hear the 50's fall off easily. The mp3 player came with earbuds which hurt my ears, so I don't know if getting the MX500's would be a good choice...- bil

Beyer 250 Pads? V6 vs. Senn 495s?
Getting the stock pads that were on the V6 off wasn't hard at all, getting the beyer pads on the V6 was tough. I used a dime to help get the edge of the pad into the groove.- bil

Help on rock setup for $300
By "in your face" I mean that all the vocals and instruments seem crammed together. Yes I like the impacting bass of a drum but not to the extent that I'd fatigue of it after an hour or so. How would you compare the SR80 bass to the V6's? -Bill- bil

Help on rock setup for $300
I have a budget of about $300 to spend on a new setup. Cureently I'm using V6's but I'd like something with a wider sound stage and not so 'in your face'. I mostly listen listen to rock, such bands as Pearl Jam, Incubus, Staid, Godsmack, Nirvana, Cold, and Tool. I hearthe SR80's are...- bil
