There is very little informations about SR-1 ,and almost nothing about SR-2 ,even nothing in the Stax Histry : http://www.stax.co.jp/Export/History.html I think hunt them is almost impossible. Just wonder are there any of SR-2 still exist

They very similar.They are like time machine ,you put them on your head and you go back to the sixties :) Sound is not very good compare to Lambdas.They have poor stereophony compare to later Stax so it is time machine,part of a histry,colectors item more then for listening. So many years since...

My K1000 s/n 2000 has sliding notches.I had other pair 2000 as well and had the same way working temple pads.

Paint on signs on my K1000 was partly wiped off so removed it completly. It looks not bad I think,may be even better :-)

I Poland retail price for SR-009 is 4900euro ( 2 years warranty) Arnaud How much cost SR-009 in Japans audio shops ,same like in PJ?

I spoke with AKG Vienna and they comfirm- K1000 serial numbers strart from 1000.

Heinz ,do you think that may be right,s/n start from 1000 ?

The highest s/n I have seen is bit more then 11000.
