Need help finding a new IEM
I ordered them direct from RHA @ £79.95 (free P&P) and they arrived in 2 days. I listen mainly to Metal, but in all genre's the vocals are never hidden, the treble takes a slight, albeit un-noticeable front, but the overall presentation is mainly flat. I use these direct from my mobile phone...- Barlow762

Need help finding a new IEM
Hello. I use the RHA MA-750 for work. It only costs £80 and is superb for the signature you described. This has beautiful highs and mids, supplemented by a pleasant bass that has significant authority, but never threatens your eardrums. It never overpowers the mids or highs, so you get good...- Barlow762

This is something I'm interested in, especially as all of my music comes from my HTC M8. Keep toying between getting the dragonfly and/either a hi-res player such as the AK jr.- Barlow762

RHA MA-750i Review
mark2410 I love the fact you have stuck to the thread and helped fellow headfi'ers with our beloved bit of kit! I totally agree with your comments and they marry brilliantly with metal music. My wife is a true skeptic (especially when it comes to spending money on myself!!:)) but after...- Barlow762

RHA MA-750i Review
RHA I've had the pleasure of owning a pair of the 750's for a while now and could I just point out that I am robbing your company blind.... these easily weigh in at double the cost on sound alone. Then there's the Trojan like build and the beauty of the product... also reading through the...- Barlow762

Headphones for metal music - ultimate solution
I had a good look at the Grados as I listen to similar genres, they have good write ups everywhere. Shuto77 recommended Meze99 classics with a dragonfly black amp for cellphone use..... I would like to know if anyone else has more input to bring out the best for metal?- Barlow762

Headphones for metal music - ultimate solution
Hi, those Fostex can's look exquisite for £350(?), as do the Meze. Could do with closed back cans, but it is not essential, sound quality is the only concern. My budget is around £300 for the cans, obviously if I can gain as good sound quality for less that would be brilliant! Otherwise I will...- Barlow762
