Pretty sure it's fake, ATH appeared in an expo in HK few weeks ago announcing that they'll release the new air dynamic flagship, as well as the new limited MSR7se. That seems to the only 2 new stuff coming.

I think this may largely due to your mod - people get this phone largely for collection, so a modded one is not that easy to go.

Why do you insist on the detachable cable? A fair IEM cable is even more than $150.   I'd usually recommend CKR10 around this price.

I use my LS50s with High gain and still volume level about 12' clock (I'm only about 4 ft from the speakers!). Probably my Hugo doesn't deliver enough power working as a DAC. Maybe.

Not likely. I met someone works for HFM in another forum and he told me that there will be no more V3 - but who knows. They always eat their words.   It's confirmed by him that they only change the can itself, the driver remains the same. They don't even willing to wrap it with a new box...
