My volume down button is broken. :( It only works 50% of the time... Still usable, but very annoying.

Hi, I've been an owner of the AudioEngine A5s for about 6 months now. After putting a fan near my laptop on my desk (and consequentially my speakers) I've been hearing a weird interference type noise when I power the speakers off. Right when I hit the power switch, I hear and feel a loud THUMP...

I prefer optical because there will be less things to interfere with the audio output. For example: If I connect too many drives to my computer, all of the other USB ports get disconnected. I know this isn't common issue but it just illustrates the fact that things can go wrong with USB, because...

This album or track is known to be mastered poorly on CD from what I've read. I get distortion with any set-up and I'm using Lossless. I've had almost 100 hours of burn-in, however, if that's any consolation. I'd suggest using another album/track for testing. Could you PM me a copy too...
