Yep, the drivers just refuse to install. I have no idea what's wrong with it. Thanks for the link to the script. I've tried running that script before but it didn't do it for me. I'll give it another try with the init.d script. Thanks again!

Just tried the Google Play version and the same result :( I'm going to try a custom ROM next. Will report back. Thanks for your help!

Looks like I might have to go that route after all. Flashed Imperium kernel and now soft keys don't work. In addition, even with a custom kernel with SELinux set to permissive, the V4A drivers still refuse to install. What a pain...maybe I'll try downgrading to 4.4.4 or a custom rom.

Most custom kernels will have SELinux set to permissive. Imperium Kernel is no exception. I'm just apprehensive about custom kernels as some can negatively affect things like battery life. If a kernel came with a recommendation I'd be more willing to try it out. Guess I'll give Imperium Kernel...

Has anyone running stock TW 5.0.1 been able to get V4A to work? I'm having trouble installing the drivers. Can't even seem to set SELinux to permissive. I was forced to upgrade to 5.0.1 and so far it's been nothing but a royal pain. :rolleyes:

I've found this to be the case as well. Interesting bit: one time I left the Cozoy Astrapi plugged into my S4 and even though no music as playing, it drained the battery completely in a couple hours.

I don't think the position of the drivers is of any concern; I think the person assembling the IEM fits them in as good a configuration as they can. Did you have your A12's reshelled?

I happen to have the Samsung S4 so I guess I'll get the OTG dock and see if it works. If not I'll get the Qi dock and see if it works. That that fails then I guess I'm SOL :rolleyes:

So the OTG function is shut off while charging. How disappointing... Not really an issue of compatibility in my case. My intention is to charge the phone while it's connected to a DAC via OTG. Looks like I'll need to look into those Qi chargers.

Going to make an effort to rearrange my schedule to make this one. If I'm able to make it I'll bring my Sony PHA-3 and a pair of HiFiMan HE-500 with dual 3.5mm balanced cable. Have any of you tried those OTG charging docks like this or OTG charging cables like this? I'm thinking of getting one to see if I can get it to work with some home-use DACs.
