Thanks for the idea but I'm not much of a phone guy. Typicaly phones don't have much in the way decent EQ, gapless and features I want. Additionally, using the phone for portable sound runs the battery down quickly and is just an all around pain to use for things other than phone functions.

Tried checking on the Xduoo X2, and seems to be no longer sold. Ended up buying a Hiby R2II. While it has a lot of stuff I don't care about like wi-fi, BT etc. It has reportedly good sound and an outstanding EQ system.

I own them. Identical to the one put out by Bohm. They are very comfortable, well built and seem to be a decent value for the money, if you plan to use them for use on public transit they are worthwhile. I don't think using them as a home headphone you'd be that happy however.

My MPX3 was working fine until last week when it stopped working. No drama, no loud pop, no burning smell, no smoke, it just stopped and went cold mid-CD. I'm now trying to learn what is wrong with it and if it will be repair, or replace.

Masa -   I was listening to it a couple of nights ago and it just stopped. It went "stone dead", nothing dramatic; no loud pop, or puff of smoke, or burning smell, it just stopped. So now it is fix, or replace.
