So you preferred the G08 sound to the Bel Canto? Are there any DAC's that use the G08 hardware without the CD transport portion?

I thought the EMU1212M used the higher quality DACs like those found on the 1820m model.

Do any sound cards have XLR digital outputs that don't cost over 1k? I have seen plenty with XLR analog outputs but never a digital XLR.
