Has anyone gotten it to use AAC over bluetooth? I've only ever seen it use SBC even when I've tried to force AAC on my mac.

I mean, you can just use the built in volume mixer in windows to adjust the volume for different apps can you not? You don't need to install anything. Also the primary use for these headsets seem to be the new consoles, where xbox has it's own proprietary chat mix which the penrose X does...

@KMann I don't think I've seen this clarified yet so I'll ask again. Would it be possible to enable adjusting volume individually for 2.4ghz wireless and bluetooth when using both simultaneously?

Has anyone here tried replacing the hammock style headband on the X2's? After 5 years mine has lost basically all elasticity so the headphones keep falling off my head with any movement. They still sound great so I wanna see if there's a way to salvage them instead of just throwing them away...

Not sure about others but I've tested the range and 25ft is pretty spot on with a direct line of sight to the dongle, for my unit at least. If you have to go through walls or if you have the dongle plugged into the back of your pc hidden away under a desk then yeah your range is gonna be lower...
