Westone 4r Gone..... Now What?
My 4R went into the laundry. long story short, I took a leap into the JH audio stuff and bought an Angie V1 for a great price when the Rosie came out. All I can say is their IEMs are in a totally different league. Loved my 4R because it lasted me for 5 years with a SINGLE cable. JH cables aren't...- arthurl

JH Audio Angie Impressions and Discussion Thread
I have been using Comply foam TX500 with the JH Angies. Tried Spinfit tips and while the sizing was okay, its not as comfortable + less isolation.- arthurl

OPPO HA-2 Portable Headphone Amplifier/DAC Discussion Thread
I had the exact noise issues as dennistdk mentioned. Will not recommend pairing the HA-2 with phones (especially iPhones) unless you can turn the data off while listening.- arthurl

Dragonfly Red vs OPPO HA-2 for driving 300 Ohms headphones
I owned both Red and the HA-2, to me the HA-2 sound was better overall with tighter bass. However there were compatibility issues/noise coming off with my iPhone 6 so I had to return 4 units of HA-2 / HA-2SE without much luck. Switched to the Red and have seen no problems since.- arthurl

Possible alternative to the OPPO HA-2SE?
Can vouch for DragonFly Red especially for <$300 price tag. It drives most headphones and has good compatibility with iOS/Android/PC/Mac. Most of the time its plug and play.- arthurl

JH Audio Angie sound flat and muffled???
Used on an iPhone 6. Without a dac (straight out of headphone jack) it sounds rather limited in soundstage and highs. Also does end-up with a channel (or both) cutting out at certain position of the 3.5mm connector. Tried it with Chord Mojo, Dragonfly Red, Oppo HA-2/SE and all sounded great...- arthurl

Chord Mojo vs. OPPO HA-2SE Comparison Review
Can confirm, mojo has that darker but smoother sound compared to the brighter and more lively sound of HA-2se- arthurl
