Well they're are tons of headphones out there. DT 770 pro 80s sound great and lean a little toward the low end. Amp wise Fiio makes great stuff.  

In general headphone amps tend to enhance the quality and pronunciation of the bass tones over the mids or highs which is probobly what you're hearing.

Currently I'm playing around with a pair of DT 770 Pro 80s and while the sound is of course superior I'm not sure if comfort and noise isolation are its strong points. Comfort wise I'd say they're average, they probobly wont start hurting your head for awhile but at the same time you're not...
