Yes they should be able to, my pair are the same way one side is easier to move, Don't worry about it.

I don't think they look bad but not great either. Also Grado's QC is lacking sometimes, I can only imagine how scratched they would look fresh out of the box (since they seem like scratch magnets). BTW, they should make a stealth version, with PVD'd cups, that would be awesome!

I never tried any of the others you listed but I've had my Pico amp/dac for about 2 years and I love it, runs my grados and iems perfectly.
